I. Introduction:

The Gloria A. Gancia Library is designed to guide students, faculty and staff to locate and use Library materials effectively. The Library is properly and adequately equipped in collections, facilities and services. Organized and managed by qualified staff to provide easy access and retrieval of information to pursue the academic excellence of students, faculty and other personnel of the company.

Rules and Regulation
1. Students entering the Library should be in proper uniform.
2. Library users must register in the attendance form upon the entrance to the library .Students are requested to leave their bags, folders and other things (except valuables) in a designated area near the entrance. Notebooks and other items brought inside the Library are subject for inspection.
3.Students must always bring with them their Library Borrowers card in order to enjoy borrowing privileges.
4. A student may borrow a maximum of two books, one (1) reference book and one (1) fiction book. The possibility of Renewal is subject to eventual request by the other borrower.
5. Books for overnight are loaned out during recess time and dismissal time. Students are required to returned all borrowed books on or before 7:20.
6. Borrowing Procedures for Books

a.Fiction books may be borrowed for seven (7) days
subject for renewal for another two (2) days.
b.References books such as encyclopedias,
dictionaries, magazines etc. are for Library premises
and for photocopying only.
7. There will be a fine of Php 1.00 per hour for every book that will not be returned on time according to its due date.
8. Any book lost or damaged while on loan must be reported immediately to the library Staff so that overdue fines will not accrue. Lost books must be replaced with the same title plus the processing charge or it must be paid based on the price of the books.
9. Borrowed books are non –transferable.
10. Library borrowers card must be surrendered upon signing of clearance at the end of the
school year in all Grade level.
11. Students are required the following number of books borrowed.
Primary 5 Library Books
Intermediate 10 Library Books
Grade 7 to Grade 12 15 Library Books

12. Reserve Books (Supplementary Reading Books)
These books may be borrowed for two hours and may be renewed for another hour unless other students need them. These may be checked out for overnight use not earlier than 4:00 p.m. and should be returned not later than 9:00 a.m. of the following class day, except single copies of books and those highly in demand. These books should be returned not later than 8:00 a.m. A fine of P 1.00 will be imposed per hour of delay for returned of books.
13. Filipiniana collections, De La Salle Collection, NAC donation are not allowed to be taken out of the Library premises.
14. Students are required to sign the book card.
